We had an exceptional stay at the lodge! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly, giving us a free room upgrade with a private bathroom. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was huge and amazingly comfortable. Dinner, served family style, was delicious and made with fresh ingredients from their garden. The owner even prepared sandwiches, fruit, and coca tea for us to take on our early morning departure. Highly recommended! I highly recommend this hotel for an amazing and memorable experience.

My family and I had an amazing time at Colibri Lodge. We stayed for a few days and enjoyed the stunning scenery, friendly family environment, and luxurious rooms. The grand double rooms we booked were spacious and had comfortable king-size beds. The beautiful bathroom and delicious breakfast added to our delightful stay. Rivelino, the owner, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the Andes culture. He even took us on a hike and fishing trip. Our son loved playing with the family and spotting the various animals around the lodge. It's the perfect place to stay for a few days and explore the Colca Canyon.
I can definitely recommend this hotel.

The room was impeccable, spotlessly clean and the bed was super comfortable. the bathroom was modern and had a great warm shower, which was wonderful after a long day of hiking. - the owner provided delicious breakfast including avocado, eggs, coca tea, and bread with jam, even at 5am. - the restaurant had a simple but tasty menu at a reasonable price. - the owner was extremely friendly and helpful, offering tips for our hikes and making us feel at home. - the views from the rooms were breathtaking, especially waking up to the shining canyon.
We experienced a power shortage for a few hours due to the whole canyon, but the staff handled it well and still managed to provide dinner. There was no hot water, but this was due to late arrival on a cloudy day, which affected the solar panels.

We had an incredible stay at this hidden gem in Tapay. the friendly dogs guided us to the lodge, adding a touch of charm to our arrival. the dinner was one of the best meals we had in Peru, with homemade fruit and vegetable dishes bursting with flavor. the owner was welcoming and we had a meaningful conversation about the current situation in the country. the upgraded room upstairs was a true paradise, with a stunning view of the mountains and a beautifully refurbished interior. the bathroom was also top-notch. this place exceeded our expectations, and we hope more tourists can experience its magic.
We felt right at home here and have absolutely no complaints whatsoever.

The owner of the lodge was exceptionally helpful and kind, making my stay even more enjoyable. this place offers excellent value for the price and is highly recommended for anyone visiting the canyon.

We had the most relaxing stay at a perfect place to unwind after a big hike! The double room with a breathtaking view of the canyon was unreal. The newly constructed rooms were possibly the fanciest we've stayed in on our backpacking trip. The breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the owner even taught us how to make a traditional Peruvian dish. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was modern with a great warm shower. The staff was kind and thoughtful, despite the language barrier. we highly recommend this hotel for a luxurious stay in the middle of the canyon.
